James Aaron Oh (he/ him) is an actor and voice artist. Based in the Bay Area, he has worked on stages across the Bay: The Great Leap (Center REP, San Jose Stage Company), the world premiere of PrEP Play, Or Blue Parachute (New Conservatory Theater Center), Sanctuary City and The Great Wave (Berkeley Repertory Theater) and many others. Other regional theater credits include The Great Leap (Oklahoma Repertory Theater).

In voice acting, he has worked on independent video games, audio dramas, and independent animations with creators from around the globe. He is currently in The Great Audio Book Adventure to branch into the wonderful world of audio books.

On screen, you can find him in the gangster film, Protection Detail, and the upcoming indie martial arts flick, Hard Redemption, starring Lou Ferrigno.

Through his decade of acting, James seeks to celebrate and empower Asian Americans through his craft, with a world view that comes from moving 19 times before he was 18. He’s known for his sharp and snappy physical comedy, backed by deep pathos. When not acting, you can find him reading fantasy novels, running through hills, or listening and dancing to swing music.
